TMP Era Corvette

Post by patrickivan » Sat Dec 01, 2018 12:47 am

Nothing new. Trying to figure out what I want to do with the ST:UDC Enterprise I just picked up, and was looking at some old drawings I made for inspiration. Maybe bash it into a TMP version of my TOS Corvette...

neato!
The Perimeter Action Vessel and Raven etc,
seem to have a cousin in this ship.
It also looks somewhat reminiscent of
the defiant-class prototypes with integral warp nacelles.

The defiant was inspirational. Through this is much smaller with an equally small mission parameter.

This thing is all engine and firepower. These are meant to travel in convoys. !!!!!!!! with these and you’re toast. But without supply support vessels, they’re useless.

aha,
so they're like "Merchant-Marine Q-ships/X-ships" hehe.
I could see them with a convoy of
Oberth-haulers and Ptolemy's etc.

I like the Minuteman Class look for the struts too.

what does it look like when
it's in an 'apollo'-class configuration/ Saladin Class style configuration?
though with TMP era nacelles etc?
in a H-configuration, but with the nacelles adjoining the halfway point of the fuselage,
it looks like the Striker class/ Akyazi refit.

yet, if you go for one nacelle underslung towards aft,
it looks a little more like the Sarajevo-class.
