I've been thinking about Discovery ships and they remind me of planes. Not unlike NX-01 of course that blatantly ripped off elements from Akira that blatantly ripped off elements from 1939-45 World War planes.

Anyway. Just for fun, I mocked this up based on the fact that I have a small MIG25 model at home, and now intend to merge that with a Constitution primary hull, to create this Franken-Baby

What I can't decide is to either crop the wings like on the port side of the image, or leave them far out like the starboard side... Any thoughts? The wings will be angled up as well...

Oh, the MIG fuselage has been shortened, flipped upside down, and had it's rear horizontal and vertical stabilizers removed.

Okay- Apparently I am so god damned stupid today, that I keep hitting the quote icon AND make my changes AND save, before realizing that I didn't use the EDIT icon...

How many times will I do this? Well, I'm done for today, so hopefully this is the last time.

I like the shorter pylon.
Garry AKA --Phoenix-- Rising above the Flames.
"I saw it done on Voyager" is no excuse for anything, even breathing.

That's what I'm leaning towards.

I lost my MIG when I moved. Everything is all packed in so many places still. Hopefully the hobby shop has one.
