Thanks, Gents, for your support and comments! Its great to have feedback!

I did some more work on the ICD and I think I'm ready to paint. I've taped it up, but am going to wait until I can get the engines are ready, too.

Thanks again!

Steve

Hi!

Yea, the good old Ambassador Class! Since two days I'm working on my both clear Ambassadors, the Yamaguchi ans the Excalibur. Will create a separate topic later this week...

Greeting,

I dunno, nova, that looks fixable to me. Granted, it would take some time and patience; but totally fixable.

Gonna try?

Why fix it when you can turn it into battle damage!

That looks like it is in pretty much the same spot as the actual battle damage on the show...

Oh, the outer damage is TOTALLY fixable. In fact it's been filled in for a little while. I guess I've been waiting to make sure that putty is REALLLY dry.

The interior damage may be a little harder to fix. Reattaching the female power junction to the bottom of the hull throught the deflector hole is a little like building a ship in a bottle. Not impossible. But before I do all this I need to ask myself....do I WANT to? I have another clear Yamaguchi that I can turn into a E-C if I want. It was going to be an upgraded Ambassador labeled the USS Exeter but I'm on the fence about the name (Mainly because I already have another Shelby command scheduled for the fleet, the Nebula class USS Sutherland)
Might build it as the USS Valdemar. :P

Slight OT; I so hope that's a Colony Wars: Red Sun reference...

Wiki says it's named for the inventor of the tape recorder. Sounds like a stretch. I always assumed it was a Mercedes Lackey literary reference. YMMV of course
