Seems Photobucket is under new management.
And from what I understand, they activated 3dr party photo sharing again.
And all old photos should be back up.
But I may be wrong.

Re: Photobucket under new management!
Too late for me - I recovered what pictures I could (not a easy process) and reposted to my AST threads. Then I deleted all the pictures from Photobucket and have not used it since and don't intend to go back (certainly don't miss those nuisance, in your face ads!).
In my case, there wasn't a huge investment/long history with PB. For those with extensive collections of pictures, this is a welcome development, will save a lot of work and will restore valuable pictures to old threads!

same here, I still need to retake the pictures - or at least reload them from the saves before I deleted my account thereslawton wrote:Too late for me - I recovered what pictures I could (not a easy process) and reposted to my AST threads. Ah.... Ok.
I though as much. lol
Well... In my case, I didn't delete my account, but deleted all pics in there quite awhile back, and left one foto with a message for PB (I posted the said message here, somewhere on AST. LOL)
I've been mostly posting my fotos directly from my PC.

Re: Photobucket under new management!
I tried logging in to see what I could save but the site won't let me log on. I place my cursor over the login button and the box with the two field for login name and password appears but, when I move my cursor off the login button to type in my name and password, the login box disappears. Weird.

Don't celebrate too soon, just got an email from photobucket the 3rd party is only free temporarily and while the packages are massively cheaper if you want 3rd party you will have to pay

if you click on the camera icon it takes you to the homepage which has a login link that workstrekriffic wrote:I tried logging in to see what I could save but the site won't let me log on.
