Yes, and he does the dreadnought version if it too. Ascension class is it? Both in 1/2500.

Sorry to bomb your thread Griff.

Back OT, great build. The deflector dish looks like it is shimmering.
There is no dark side of the moon really, matter of fact its all dark.

Thanks, fellas. I’m trying to push ahead with my WIP’s in 1k, and get as many completed as I can before Summer. Right now, my focus is on Federation ships and I’m trying to keep going until they’re finished. Then I’ll move on to the Romulans, the Klingons, and all the others.

It’s a shame the 1/2500 kit is no longer available. I thought maybe Tracy at FedMods had gotten all of the old Gizmotron kits from Angelo, tho guess perhaps not.

Resurrecting yet another Olde Threade!

My most recent work done on Raan, to include custom decals from JBOT.
Raan018.JPG
Raan019.JPG
Nothing terribly fancy. Mostly just painted the phaser emitter emplacements mustard.
Raan020.JPG
The custom decals. Jim of JBOT used the scans of the "Ships of the Star Fleet, Volume One" to draw the Denebian script.

As an additional note, I built USS Belknap, NCC-2501, as well. She's in the waiting on paint stage, tho has her base coat of Tamiya rattlecan AS-27 Matte White. She's just a straight build, nothing fancy like different bridges or impulse decks.

Nice! your model gives me a new appreciation for that design. I’ve seen drawings of it for years in books and on the web, but never cared much for it. but seeing it in the real, makes me wanna add one to my never ending list of kits! great looking ship; awesome work!
Is that all you've got? A cheap trick and a cheesy one-liner?
Sweetheart, that could be the name of my autobiography.
