Star Trek Board Games

Post by patrickivan »

Hey

Anyone here play Star Trek Starship Tactical Combat Simulator?

I was just looking through my boxed set, lamenting over old games and not having anyone who wants to play, what is a seriously complex and fun turn based game.

Amazed how decent condition all the books have remained in. The box is a little rough. I even have an old poster of Troi in it, that I got in the old Starlog mags.

I did not know that...

You got a link you can throw up here?

Granted, it's the interactive gaming with real people in the same room that I like. I still play games like Zombies, but no one is interested in ST...

Did you guys have the metal miniatures as well?

I still have Regula 1, and a couple other ones. Love the heft to them.

I don't. I have however seen same at a Con. It is like the version where you play the bridge crew, except that the paper boards are on the computer and it handles the crunch work. So the social aspect is not lost.

Found it- at least I suppose the guy who originally had the PC version. Apparently CBS told him to remove it, a few years ago, so no links anymore.

It would be neat to have.

----------

Looks like there are links through Trek Core.

And I'm getting a message that prompts me to abort due to protection measures. Oh well.
