Well, my Fellow Modelers, I'm calling this one done!

Thanks, Steve (trekriffic), I took your advice and gave her a hug - from me!

Over the last 7 months (Yes, I am a slow builder!), many of you have sprung to my aid and answered my never ending questions! Also, during some particularly difficult concepts, your encouragements and words have helped me to keep going!

This was my first lighted model and, as such, I faced a steep learning curve for electronics, simple circuits and power management! I learned a lot about resistance, milliamps, light blocking, LED types and sizes and rocker switches.

Due to my extensive modifications to the standard kit, none of the usual or after-market decals fit to my liking and I ended up hand painting the ship's markings! Talk about another learning curve! The display stand has a type K power receptor, wired through the rocker switch, with a mirror on the display surface for viewing of the ventral markings! Researching and learning how to bend a brass tube, without kinking it, was another test of modeling skills.

Here are a few of the many pics I took following construction!

I really enjoyed myself; even during some blown LEDs and trying modifications! However, I would like to thank all those who leaped to my aid in answering all my newbie questions and speaking very slowly while doing so! A special call out to Steve (trekriffic) for the advice, direction, laughter from memes and inspiration! Thank you, All, for your encouragements, words of advice and support!

Thanks for looking and commenting!

For the Praetor’s Glory!

Fantastic Job!
There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.

A handsome ship and a fine addition to the Romulan fleet! :romulan: :romulan: :romulan:

P.S. I especially like the stand. ;)

Thanks, Steve, for the fly by Greetings and Best Wishes!

I, too, am glad the Praetor's Consort didn't break her wrist!

Thanks again!

Outstanding! Amazing! Seriously you did a fantastic job!

Bummer about the decals, but in a way it worked out for the best. With that paint job, your RBOP is 100% yours. Your work, your creativity, your vision. Awesome!

Impressive build indeed. I hope the model lasts a while.

You should be very proud of your achievement.

You still make models twice as quickly as I can get them done ;)
