2500 Luna Class, U.S.S. Titan wip

Post by Resin-Modeller » Sun Mar 31, 2019 10:47 am

Hey guys, so dunno what happened with the Luna that was being made before as I was looking at getting one after launch (I have a lot of kits I need to catch up on without adding more haha) but I've been told the project is dead in the water?

So.... Once Achilles sorted, may look to adding the Titan to the 2500 line but I know there was a lot of angst and anger towards OS from what I remember in the development thread from OS as it was plagued with delays.

So I dunno if it is now a sour kit, still sought after or if there is any lasting interest in it. So... If I were to start building the Titan, just wanna know if enough people would be interested in getting one, as I still want a Titan lol. Call it a bit of market research ha!

Adam.

Hi Adam, OS did finally finish the Luna and I believe he delivered kits to all who had prepaid. I know I received the two I had ordered from him and that many others did too. The only thing he did not do was provide the decals he was planning, but he did give me a partial refund for the decals not being added. I don't know if the kit is still available from OS, but I am sure it is if he has any cast. You might check Starship Modeler's webstore to see if they have it listed from OS.

Ah, that's cool. Wasn't sure and the whole Luna saga was going on while I was away n the thread had jumped from like 10 pages to something mental and hadn't seen any builds so assumed it was canned.

you can try to contact OS and see if he has any cast left, I do know he has some rubber he needs to use up (if it hasn't already gone bad on him) but asking doesn't hurt he might do another run if there's enough interest

And I have a lot of decals already drawn up for both versions I have gotten

Young? if 42 is young to you

I have several names done up, sadly I cannot access my models still after moving last July to take any pictures, but I still have my files on the computer and can print from them

I had decals I made for the OS Steamrunner as well as his Yeager class

Anyone can PM me if they’re interested

42 is NOT old. NO!

Besides, he could be 108, and relative to that, you would be considered young.

But certainly not old.
