Well guys, I have to take a little break for the next 8 to 10 days or so to go up north for a military exercise. I should be back around the 10th or 11th.

Once back I intend to use vinyl to add hull detail to the bugger and work on the sensor pod docking points.

Cheers!
well just as it was getting good.... keep warm, and return safe

Back to the vinyl details, you can see the test strips in grey in this pic:

I had great success using vinyl on my Seolkis master and while it's a pain in the ass, the details come out beautiful. Looking forward to getting home and getting back to this one.

As for names, I'm thinking:
USS Overwatch, USS Farsight, and USS Observer

Thanks for the interest guys. I got back last Sunday but I'm sick as a dog with the flu. I can never catch a break. Anyway, I did manage to get a little progress on the impulse engines on Monday night, but I've been too sick to do anything else since then.

That's all I got for now.

At this sucker again the past few nights, going with a single central mount for the sensor platform. Done alot of putty and sanding. Got the impulse engines in place - they still need some putty work. I should be ready to start on the vinyl plating during the next week, then if I'm lucky some primer.

I still need to do work on the nacelles to make them look less Ent-E like. I may need to shorten them along with some add on's.

After the vinyl hull details are added I'll need to put on the phaser strips.

Got a little more work done on her, but getting distracted with other builds like the Erebus, Proto-D'deridex, Kratok, T'Pring and a new Cardassian design.

I'll try to start getting updated pics up this coming week and start some new threads as well.
