I like this. The flying bridge design is very daring. I assume the ring helps in generating the warp field? Any issue you see with having the bridge crew sitting atop the ring from a health and safety perspective?

In this instance, that's a sensor platform atop the warp ring. Making it the bridge adds in all the problems of getting there through the warp ring engine so it just makes sense to have it a sensor platform.

Ahhhhh makes sense the Vulcan designers would not want to jeopardize the lives of the crew.

Now,conversely, if this were a Klingon ship design, all bets would be off!
This might definitely be the bridge or at least a holding area for prisoners; the latter more likely.
If the former, Imagine the bridge crew basically having to navigate a curved klingon jefferies tube thru a metal warp field generating ring just to use the head?
Guess they would be racking up points in Sto-vo-Kor for sure.

Anyway, I'm lovin' this design more now. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
