StarFleet Scorpion Class Warp Tug...

Post by RogueWolf » Sat Feb 10, 2018 3:30 am

Or ECM ship, or whatever ship.

I've been working on and off this hull design for a long time now but I think I might be nearing the finish line. My idea was a squat but powerful Warp Tug, that lead me to the forward placement of the nacelles, then I added four heavy impulse engines and a powerful tractor beam pod to the aft end. I had to raise the pod up to clear the impulse engine exhaust.

So here she is:

Front on;

Fore quarter closer to the deflector and bridge;

And an aft quarter looking at the impulse engines and tractor pod;

Or if a Tug isn't your cup-o-tea, call her an ECM ship. Or whatever else you can think up...

I like it! Maybe not as a tug but a super fast spy/reconnaissance ship

She's got that chunky, brutally utilitarian aesthetic I love. She's either a service/engineering ship (like a tug), or she's a gun boat.

without the yellow thing and hex pod thing. a heavy fighter, bomber, gunboat, interceptor. we need those for all races.

edit; i keep being drawn to the back, like it should have an argo type mini vehicle.
