Good, simple lighting primer?

Post by FatherRob » Sun May 25, 2014 6:36 pm

I am wondering if there is a good, simple primer on lighting available somewhere. I have the clear Ambassador class ship that I would like to light as a first go, but all that came in the box was a bunch of LEDs and a box for 4 D batteries... No wires, etc.

I'd like to add nav lights if possible, but all this wiring, resistor, etc stuff had me confused.

I'm a theologian, not an engineer!

You might want to check out some of the YouTube channels out there for some more tips on lighting. Trek works and Steve Neill are some of my favourites. Also on here Harristottle does some excellent lighting work in the 1/2500 section.

Radio Shack also has the occasional handy booklet for wiring, soldering, and the like.
