I use Future for gloss coat, and Tamiya Flat Clear XF-86 for dull coats. Mix the two and maybe that works for semi-gloss.

Nonononno! Not the same stuff. Tamiya has a gloss and a flat if you have to mix. Floor finish is not paint, even if we use it that way. I do too, so no stones. I don't even like to mix different brands of paint. Formulas differ and miscibility likewise.
