Excelsior 1/1400

Trying to get all my pictures off photobucket.
The 1/1400 Starcrafts Excelsior I built a few years ago. This is all paint and home made decals. No wallpaper decals available back then

Very nice! So the aztecking is home made decals or painted? Either way she came out great!

The Aztecs are home printed. Not my design though, I used the ones from SSM and resized them. None of the blue is decals though, all paint there.

Fantastic looking model, I especially like how the deflector looks like it's glowing even though it's just painted.

Thanks Prof. I’ve been working on deflector dish painting for a long time now! Many many trial and errors over the years

That is really incredible. Simply beautiful work. What did you use for your base coat? (I ask because my old one is Ducks Egg Blue, and my next one will be 50/50 DEB and flat white)
