TMP fleet to be...

So I'm a TMP Movie era lover... something about that design era when it comes to ships... so I've got a little fleet in to be built... With some help from 3D printers It'll keep growing for awhile too... but here is what I have (in various planning stages) to add to my 1/1400 Frankenfleet, But as these ships will all be named after people in my Fantasy football league that we have to have a "code" name for... I present you the founding ships of the "Baker's Club" fleet
As you can see I've included the "Roscoe" and "Starbase 19 - Majestic Station" which I've completed previously...

From Left to Right: Majestic Station, USS Freed - Northampton Class, USS - Excelsior (Mod 1), USS Perkins - Akayzi (Modified), USS Qui To - Chandley Class, USS Jungjareon - "Federation class*" JJ Enterprise, USS Delozier- Hornet, USS Roscoe - Thufir, USS Benson - Excelsior (Mod 2), USS Ting - Miranda Class and the USS Jennimae - Constitution (TMP)

* so I have decided that I am adding the JJ Version to this set... now that is actually the Special edition DVD set you see there ?!?! What the....?!?! up... it comes in at about 75% of the Excelsior and about 125-140% of the Constitution... so I decided there really should be an intermediate class between them... hence the "Federation" class, (yeah yeah I know... wheres the 3rd nacelle... NOPE not for MY version of the Federation class...

I have a few other ships that are HOT off the printer... and not quite ready to be added... but here they are:

the Top one I call the Albatross Class and is a mix of 3 ships... The Akayzi (Saucer), The Phobos (catamaran side hulls), and the Abbe (Central hull and Weapons pod). this one will be named the USS LAM.
The lower ship is a modification of the Remora from the old Fast Game, Updated by Crazy Eddie with dualing warp engines and a miranda style weapons pod... Further modified by me to only have 3 rings (Eddie's has 6 and the saucer is the same size as the Connie... making this one HUGE escort... this one is about 1/2 the Miranda class (if you don't count the Warp Engines)... She will be called the USS Lee

I like that the JJ-prise has been scaled down and isn't ridiculously oversized like the 2009 movie specs would have us believe.

Yeah it's way too much! I think that this version is still a little larger that I would prefer.... The Eaglemoss Special is actually just about the right size.... but I really didn't want to mess with that one... but I figured that this was a good compromise... plus, I never open it up to get the DVD anymore with a HD digital copy anyways...

Cool designs! I'm also on a late 23rd century kick right now, re-doing a few models with new aztecs and collecting parts for some new ships too. May I ask where you found and had printed the weapons pod to the Abbe class? I'd like to rebuild my Abbe pod, but I like the general shape of the one you have a bit more.
Now that I'm done with my Brattain and wrapping up my Enterprise A with new aztecs, the next projects are going to be the MVM Soyuz and my bashed Knox class. The Aztec decals are tedious, but it really makes the ships pop in this scale....just MHO. Once those 2 ships are done, I'm moving forward with a Federation class dreadnought I bashed from old parts of an E-A, and a re-decal and detail of my old 1400 Akyazi. My TMP fleet isn't nearly your size....but it's growing!
FYI, Jeff Griffin had a gent build the parts to convert a 1K scale Reliant into an Endurance class model, and the designer is open to reducing the size of the parts to a 1400 scale ship. Sounds like a fun addition if you're interested!

Some movement on my small little fleet here starting to put the “easy” azteking on.

Oh and a new addition to the fleet from madman shipyards... A discovery version Enterprise it’s a little more work than the other ones but I think it’ll be a fine addition.
