I thought that was a studio model at first. Well done!

Wow! I think I like some things better on your Excalibur than on my own. She doesn't light up does she?

Hey, may I ask you.....the Bussard collector modifications, did those come from, or lead to, the bussards that DLM sells?
Also, that beautiful modification to the leading edge of the neck: is that screen accurate to a modified Ambassador, or was that something you just chose to add? Because it makes a ton of sense to me, and I will likely be copying....er......BORROWING.....that mod in my build.

Wow, thought it was a studio model? That is way too kind of you to say! Much appreciated though ;)

No, it doesn't light up (unfortunately this was built long before I dabbled with lighting). I did put reflective chrome tape behind the clear parts so if there is light shining on the clear parts it sort of lights up a bit though :)

The studio model does have the flat detail on the front of the neck. I'm not sure if it's exclusive to the Refit version, or if the Enterprise C has it as well though. A quick check of some ref. Pics should clarify that.

Yes, once I made the bussard domes and deflector dish, they were sent to Don for casting and distribution. I have pretty much shared all my modifications with the modelling public free of charge (there is a back story to why I do this, but that's for another day :)

A shot of the B/C deck. Quite different to the Enterprise C version.
