Honest question...how does one actually go about scratch building something like this? How do you make parts like that? Did you create molds or just shape sheet styrene?

Everything was made with sheet styrene. Whilst it weighs about 10-15kg fully assembled, it is completely hollow. I made the whole ship in sections. Some were then glued together while others were left as individual parts for painting/storage purposes....
