3d printed kit 16 inches long this is the version of the discovery from the 2016 sdcc teaser trailer that is often refered to as the alpha version

So there is no “hole” on the saucer, better this way :)

apparently not a single 'ass' in the intended crew either. yes, i was reaching hard for a joke not worth telling there. shame on me.

the ship looks great! stunning!! i, too, prefer this version [without the cut outs in the saucer].

although, this version makes a case for it being a timeship or 25th century ship, than the final version.

where was this printed and how does the material compare to shapeways wsf and fud?

this was printed by madman'sshipyard a 3d printed model shop out of milton fl run by ricky wallace jr he uses abs filliment and i would not know i never bought from shapeways no way to pay online no credit or debit cards and no bank account under my control i have to use cash or usps money orders to buy stuff the only places i can buy online are amazon walmart and itunes due to thier gift cards
