Griff gets to take alot of credit for this one, as it was inspired by his build. Using parts from two Refits (one had already donated parts to my USS Warspite) and a Heavy Destroyer kit.

I wanted the extended secondary hull so I cut and spilced two of them together........

I decided to use the original pylons to do something a little different than the standard Federation Class outline making her a variant of the class

Since the saucer section would have its own warp nacelle and could theoretically operate as an independant unit it made since to add a suacer mounted auxiillary deflector whick also helps to enhance targeting sensors.....

Finally got the pylons glued in the way I wanted them and used the neck and torpedo laucher assemply from the Heavy Destroyer kit....

And with a judicious use of AVES made the pylon mounts really permanent......

Lovin the mods, Red!
Is this a class of starship of you own design? (Well, and Griff's)?
Do you have a pic of your end game?
Keep 'er going!

Oh, no. This isn’t my design. I just know C.R. outside of the various forums. He’s shared some of these pics with me, which is how I had those pics that I posted in his Endeavour thread. IIRC, he’s calling this a refit Federation-class variant.

Well it was Griffs idea to splice the secondary hulls togehter and to use the Heavy Destroyer Conversion kit on it. This is a variant of the Federation Class as the Confederacy was built in a different yard than the rest of Starfleet .
I have sanded and filed the roots of the pylons to get a summetrical look and blend in with the hull. Need to scribe some lines and add a lil more putty to the former arboretum windws to get it smooth and rounded out then she will be ready for final assembly.

Just tisied up the aboretum windows a lil nothing fancy. Waiting on a new regulator for my airbrush compressor. Seems so odd that everything I want to do starship wise seems to involve using the airbrush!!!

You get that one critical tool and until you don't have it you don't realize how critical it is.Commodore Red wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 1:46 pm Just tisied up the aboretum windows a lil nothing fancy.
