My one completed 1/1000, well outside the D7 I just snapped together.

On the surface, this appears to be the PL model, but with adjustments.

What was your inspiration for the expanded bridge dome?

Correct on all counts. PL Enterprise, JT Graphics saucer hump modified. The defector was done with existing parts and filler. The only other modification isn't seen. A tube in the secondary hull for the brass post.

Captain LaSaille wanted a day room. The First Principle

I love it. The modifications make it unique.

I found a construction picture. It gives a good shot of the defector dish.

nice!! I like the mods you did for this.

I have a 1/1000 scale Decatur conversion that I think would benefit from the JTGraphics b/c deck mod.....hmmm....

All of them in story. Literally, I wrote stories about it. http://www.oldephoenixinn.net/startrek/ ... html#jerry The tales with the NCC-1710 are "The First Principle" and "Collateral Damage". I have a third that has been stalled forever.

The extended A deck is two JT Resin humps. I cut one bridge in half and added to the front then filled in. I have the remains of the second one in the parts box.

It was a fun model to build. The post that holds the rod. Well I didn't get pictures but I used exactly the same method with the Republic. Ergo:

PS: Duh! I edited your post, not quoted it. Fixed it.
