Rasha-class Scout

Post by Griffworks » Mon Jul 31, 2017 7:30 am

This kit is from Ravenstar and long OOP. Like a lot of ships from that line, I believe it was designed for 1/1400, tho it might have 1/2500. Regardless, I'm calling it Multi-scale - 1/2500 as a cruiser, and 1/1000 as a scout.

Pictured here with a Round2 1/1000 scale pre-decorated Klingon D-7.

More to come!

neat, thanks for sharing

while I prefer this as a cruiser to a scout, ~420-500m range,
it does have a lot of design relationships with the Talon, a Bird of Prey,
and orion stuff.
it looks very sleek and speedy,
and since ST:Ent stuff like the 'heavy BoP" and that fast-klingon ship,
it's aged well :D

I kinda wonder what a Harpy-class beak or a Raptor-class or Griffin-class beak would look like on it,
this definitely has some rommie styling hehe.
defiant or data's scout ship from Insurrection would have a hard time from a couple of these.

This is a neat design. Curse my inability to buy Ravenstar kits when they were out

Updated pics.

I tried to be consistent while also following the basic FASA Romulan mindset of "colorful" hull plate patterns.
