Not too shabby. :)

Thanks, but the truth is it needs a lot of work before the deadline. I'm not unhappy with the impulse nacelle progress - but it's not where I want it to be yet...

I've been dealing with some personal issues lately and haven't had the time to put in at the bench. While I haven't withdrawn from the contest, I'm no longer sure it will be finished in time... but there is always hope!

It will be finished, one way - or another. I'm still hopeful it will be done in time for the contest too!

Long over due update. So as you know I was going to build the Sphinx Work Pod in 1/72 for the contest. But Life got in my way and bogged me down big time. But I got back at the bench and back at the build.

And then I got to thinking, what's the Work Pod going to be doing? Then I began to contemplate the design of the pod. It looks like a pickup truck. What do you do with a pickup? Why, haul stuff in the back bed of course! But what should she haul...

And then it hit me! An Anti-Matter storage pod! So here is where I am at;

Forward 3/4 view, still needs a lot of work,
Image

Aft 3/4 view, the cargo bed doesn't have the sidewall 'bumpers' built into them yet, that's what I was working on tonight,
Image

I'm going to have a scratch built Work Bee (that I already had built) loading the Anti-Matter pod into the cargo bed using a grabber sled attachment,

And here is my progress on the Grabber Sled attachment for the 'Bee,

I might get them primed tomorrow evening, but I'm out of town from Friday to Sunday so having them finished by the 30th is gonna be a stretch...
