They were very impressive in person. Same with the USS Grissom. Big ships. Huge ships.

Big ships, and I cannot lie...!
There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.

Pretty much. Crowne Plaza in Louisville, KY. WonderFest According to the website it's June 4-5, 2016. If you stay across the street at the Howard Johnson's you can save about $30 per night.CyberGolem wrote:Is the location and the time of year of the Wonderfest pretty much the same every year?

Re: all the pics
When I looked into HoJo's booking last week, the regular room rate was $118.75 per night. If I pay in full in advance, the price drops to $100.94 per night (plus tax). That's about $20 more per night than I paid in 2014. My AAA discount puts the room at $106.88 per night. I'm just kinda wary of shelling out $470.00 right now.
Still cheaper than across the street at the Crowne Plaza (starts at $150, and I don't know if they've got the WF block pricing in place yet) but it's still a bigger chunk of change, even split multiple ways.
HoJo's used to have a promo where if you stayed 3 or more nights, you got a 20% discount, so our rooms had been costing about $80 per night. Looks like that may be long gone now.
