Tycho Art Comps

Post by AdmiralBuck » Fri Jan 25, 2019 4:29 pm

Over the years, I've composited a variety of images featuring my finished models for fun. Some of them have been included in the Ships of The Line Calendars. Here's a few samples:

Your scratch-bashed models are incredible already but your compositions are no less a work of art.

I love the one that looks to me like the ship is in great fear of that Zero (my plane ID is very rusty)... I just chuckle when I see that.

LOOK OUT! It's a mid 20th century very lightly armoured single rotary engine flying machine!

Thank you for looking.

The Countdown:1941 comp is a nod to the film "Final Countdown".

Going to try to use my memory as opposed to the internet here... I'm not that old.

Final Countdown was an 80's movie about an aircraft carrier that went through a temporal vortex to the South Pacific just before the attack on Pearl Harbour? Where they struggled with the decision to interfere or not, and after deciding to, the vortex opened up again and they had to leave? Tomcats V. Zeros... They wouldn't even have to get anywhere near them to destroy the invasion fleet.
