Tamiya tape for curves???

Post by NCC1966 » Tue Jul 26, 2016 12:56 pm

Today I was checking eBay to buy some Tamiya tapes and bumped with it:

Perhaps it is just me but I never knew that it exists!

Do you guys have something to say about that? Is this any good?

:)
Thanks,

Yan.

I've heard of it but never bought any. For one thing, one curve is not the same as every other.

I just use regular masking tape. Cut it into thin strips, and it works great.

If you mean the round strips in the saucer, I made mine the following way: I started doing it with small pieces of Tamiya tape but it was being insane. Then I just drew circles in a glued paper (label), printed it and cut with a scissor. Then I stick it to the saucer. It worked. I am finishing the build of my C right now.

:)
Thanks,

Yan.
