Recommended brand and supplier for battle damage decals?

Post by nova1972x » Mon Nov 26, 2018 3:21 pm

Hi all.

I've taken a long break from model building, and my current kick is to restore some old childhood Kenner Star Wars vehicles. I know this isn't exactly related, but I figure close enough. Anyway, I have a Millennium Falcon that sustained some melting damage, with several spots the size of a quarter to half dollar. This kind of renders my Falcon "damaged goods," and since the damage cannot be repaired, I want to turn it into battle damage.

I attempted to paint the melted spots, but I used Testor's paint, and found that the paint remains stick (probably the type of plastic the toy is made of?). So, I have decided that I will remove the paint and I would like to use waterslide decals, instead.

I was wondering if someone could recommend a good supplier, and good brand of battle damage decals?

Just seen that PNT on Federation Models does some battle damage decals too. from 1/350 scale and 1/1000 scale with two sets of generic damage sets. I didn't look too hard though.

Thank you. I remember Federation Models. Just couldn't remember the site, because my other laptop died and took my bookmarks with it.
