Primed it last night and put on the first layer this morning.

Currently glosscoted the model and waiting for it to dry. I thought I would share the decals I am going to use. Currently going to use ArthurPendragon"s Aztec decals from SSM plus sets from JT Graphics decals. Considering some of the builds I've seen from newbies that blow me out of the water, I should at least try something to expand my skills and improve.

Started decaling the model on Monday night and finally had the chance tog et some pictures and post. also did some of the detail painting. Mostly on the nacelles.

Are those wallpaper decals difficult to put on?

Some of them. The ones for the engines and part of the secondary hull will need to be cut to fit. The one's for the saucer didn't give to much trouble, just some of the paint coming off, but I think that is more towards how I printed them off then anything else.

Still working on this build. Applied more of the Aztec decals on the secondary hull and started on the top of the primary hull. No idea how I am going do the paneling around the impulse deck. I now also have a higher appreciation for those who print and successfully their own decals. Some of the one's I've printed out have rubbed off, but then that is all part of the process right?

Looks really nice! the decals are very subtle.

I was concerned they would be too dark, but they actually came out really nice. Guess I'm just spoiled using other decal sheets that pre cut.

Completed decaling the upper saucer. Going to move onto the engine nacelles next. Will post pictures once I get within a day or two. trying to decide how to decal the inner sections of the saucers (near the bridge and sensor dome) Seems some cutting and trimming is going to be needed.

Still working on this. Started working on the decals for the nacelles and I am almost done. The promised pictures should be posted tomorrow.
