I'm going to upload a few picks of the nacelle build. I changed the design after the first draft because the EL light strip I wanted to use was just not bright enough. Instead I have a string of blue LEDs inside, and the translucent engine covering is cut from a milk carton. It was enough to diffuse the light to my liking.
The bustard collector in these photos was just temporary. I designed and ordered a couple from shapeways that fit much better.
These photos are from the second attempt. I have since orders some round blue plastic rod 1/16 diameter that will go around the engines and help defuse the light even more.
