Where would one find it? And the panelling looks great.

The vinyl?

Most hobby shops that deal with RC aircraft stock it. You can also purchase it from the sign cutting shops. There are probably online sources as well. Never had to look - the one sheet I have is a three lifetime supply at 1:2500 scale.

It does come in varying thicknesses, so look carefully at what you are buying, and play with it - you will find a thickness that looks "right" to you.

Ah vinyl - I have dabbed a little into this as well. I love the results but need to exercise more patience and care to do it right. Kratok, your builds are very inspiring - I love them! I feel that you are right though - the aliens don't get as much love in the threads as Fed ships do. But so what! Keep the progress pics coming!

Awesome builds Kratok! You've exceeded what I expected to see.

And I'm also awfully jealous that you have enough Breen cruisers that you can chop them up to make others

Thanks, guys.

Basecoated with the bluegray and lavender tonight. I start detail painting tomorrow.

This is traditionally where things break down for me. I can generally get the build where I want it to be, but a lot of my painting skills have atrophied. Too many consecutive years of Real Life intrusions into my modeling time. I get discouraged, box the half-finished project, and move on to the next build.

Repeat, ad nauseum.

That is why I did not obsess over uber-accuracy in these builds. Nor am I going to fuss to make sure all the painting is perfect.

I am hoping that a more relaxed approach to finishing on these builds will allow me to push through this block.

Wish me luck!

Good luck ;)

And it's looking good. I'm jealous too. I want one Breen cruiser. Now I have insperation for how to make a fleet.
