Sharp & Pointy

Post by Tesral » Wed Aug 29, 2018 4:13 am

Why I don't have more models.

EDIT for explanations.
Top the Swords: From the top Renaissance era rapier. Long and slender. My katana, sadly in the sheath. A replica by good steel, unlike most of them. And a cutlass I grabbed in the basis that it was left handed. Nice cutlass.

On the wall Viking broadsword. Well made and wicked sharp. An actual Viking might take that blade as "magical". A single piece of spring steel it would be like nothing he had seen. On the right a German hand and a half sword. Surprisingly light.

I have a Sting an old work colleague gave me, though it's 'more of a letter opener'.

Nearly everything on the table or the wall will shave you. There are a couple of "knife shaped objects" in the collection. However I shy away from them..

Do people want more?

A tad more expensive.

Which, the guns or the knives? The bottom rifle wasn't actually that bad at all. I had it built at the last gun show by an armorer. All I needed to supply was a stripped lower, since the armorer had given up his FFL.

My balisong collection is worth way more than my guns. Lots of rare Benchmades in there.

@Tesral
Nice collection - |for the sake of brevity, 'those technical questions I asked you, goes here'|. :borg:
As for more images of the collection? for sure,
it'd be great to see some more 'archival' stills from the collection. :D

Truly, arsenals that
would make Hirogen & Klinkgonks proud.
(Seriously, No Bat'Leths nor Bak-hu-Lo's?)

Well I'm, not that fond of the Klingon designs. And bat'leths are huge. Much wall space taking.

Sure I'll do knife by knife breakdowns. I'm not getting many models done.

The guns. The most expensive swords in the group is well under 300. I know what guns cost. I've been pricing them.

Then again I've seen the prices on the Benchmade blades, Enough to flip your wig. Too much for this old codger.

Well, I guess you guys are ready for the zombie apocalypse! The sharpies would probably be better against the walkers, but the firepower would be more useful against the living (as in "The Walking Dead").
