i would love for them to do a transgender transformation on a well known character
And if they don't, will you be advocating for a boycott?

I think it's great that Patrick Stewart is back and I'm... cautiously optimistic.

Like that. I've learned not to pour too much into a maybe.

"Space Indiana Jones." So, Vash basically. Picard's old fling from Risa who ended up touring the Gamma Quadrant with Q? Now that could make for some interesting stories. If he's not a captain anymore maybe he finally decided to take up archaeology. If the writers are really clever and love the source material as they say, a spacefaring older couple, platonic or otherwise, conducting xenoarchaeology could make for some fascinating stories and fertile ground for revisiting concepts and places referenced in earlier materials (like the planet Kurl, birthplace of Picard's cherished naiskos. There's plenty of opportunity for them to interact with other elements of Starfleet. Maybe they have their own ship, similar to the Hansons' USS Raven, with which they travel between their digs. Maybe we get another opportunity to see Picard's romantic side, like we did with Nella Darren in "Lessons."

Okay... I'm not too sure what that has to do with what I said.

Means, I’ll watch it no matter what I heard about it, and make my own call on if I like it or not

Sure. Still not too sure what that has to do with what I said, but I concur with the sentiment.
