Favorite Music
As I write this I'm destroying my hearing with Mahler no. 8. I always have something going when I'm modeling, whether on the computer or by hand. Podcasts, TV shows, cartoons, music, there's always something.
What do you guys/gals listen to when you build things?

Re: Favorite Music
Gregorian chants to metal to folk to classical. I like Music.
I find it is more artists I gravitate to and less genres.

I tend to marathon old TV box sets, the last model I built it was the first 4 seasons of The Bill, a 1980s UK cop drama.

I collect movie scores. Just love that type of music, among others.

Re: Favorite Music
I am definitely an easy listener as I will listen to almost anything. barring opera and C and W.
Thrash metal, classical, prog, pop (mostly), dance, trance happy hardcore. I will listen to almost anything.
Nothing while building though, I need my calm.

Re: Favorite Music
As opposed to people that have to have their music while building. For such identical creatures we differ so.
I'm music agnostic while building or writing. The only caveat is nothing new or with lyrics while writing. Music training in my youth means I I listen to music. A new album takes my full attention. Something very familiar, like PP&M I can write to. I know it so well that the lyrics just pass me by most of the time.
PS: Never put a Georgian Chant album on repeat. Hours later you will wonder when you started that thing. It blends into the environment that well.
PPS: My Mother didn't like it. "It sounds like Monks are coming down the hall". Well DUH!

Sitting relaxing in the evening I will put on YouTube and just listen to waves rolling while chilling or a keiledscope
