So, it turns out that they do a lot of ship footage with a shooting model and motion control. Nice!

What are your thoughts on the heavy cruiser, the USS Olympia

I've seen some negative comments that say it looks too much like an enlarged version of The Orville but I like it that it follows the same design philosophy. Hope they feature more ships of the fleet and different designs, roles etc.

I like it for the same reason you do: it follows a similar design philosophy. Why should we expect it to be totally different?

Okay, who caught last night’s ep? It was just damned good fun. I’m really digging the chemistry the cast has, and, well, Alara ... let’s just say I’m crushing pretty hard. :mrgreen:

Was also great fun to see Robert Picardo again!
