Synthahol would be perfect for an evening of modeling and drinking--shake your head and you're ready to start building. For me, alcohol and modeling are utterly incompatible. Just one beer, and I lose the urge to build models. And once I start building a model, I forget I wanted a beer.
But isn't it all Klingon opera?

Cydonia and I might stop by a local Asian store in Lansing and pick up some bottles of plum wine to bring down with us. And something of the barley/hops/malt variety might make its way into the trunk of my Impala as well.

The only import to grace my refrigerator:
It's quite hoppy, and if you like bitter ales, you'll like a Bitburger. Was ist schoener als ein Bit? In Germany, bier is not just a beverage, it's a way of life. Don't worry, I'll bring a few samples with me. Here's my shrine to the Rhineland ambrosia.

Good luck with WF this year guys. I'm finishing up school so I'll be picking up the pieces of my life and gluing them/filling and sanding them this year, but will be primed and ready to paint for next year's WF I'm sure.

I will be heading for Louisville in about 5 days, 13 hours, 55 minutes (estimated departure time is 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning).
I have two more 1:2500 kits in the decal stage that I hope to finish tomorrow night. One is an experiment, because I didn't know if it would work. It's a Cozmo Heavy Industries Oriskany Class Thru-Deck Cruiser with full Gizmotron Refit Aztec wallpaper decals (two combined sets). Actually working out pretty darn well.

I'll be there.
I'll also have my new 1:72 scale Jeffries shuttle kit there as well.
Eric, you boys in the RI suite going to be up late Friday? I'm not getting in until 11:30.

Excellent news Scott! I've got to see it in person. Looks like a fabulous kit! Plus, I need to talk to you anyway about something.srspicer wrote:I'll be there.

Re: Who is going to Wonderfest this year?
It's the model based off of the original Matt Jeffries design of the Galileo shuttle. It's much more rounded and sleek than what we saw in TOS. Isn't this used in the re-master?
