Display ExtravaSTANDza

Post by Kratok » Fri Dec 01, 2017 4:33 am

Hey, all.

From time to time folks here have been looking for original kit stands. So I cant bring myself to just trash these without checking first to see if anyone can use them.

I'm calling each of these photos one "set". Just to cover my gas/time/shipping supplies I’m asking $8 per set, plus actual shipping (at the cheapest available option here within the United States).

First Edition 1:2500 Ent-TOS, -A, and -D (8.5 inches across the oval) NO TAKERS, DISCARDED IN TRASH
IMG_3076.JPG
Various AMT kits (Chevrons about 8 inches tall. I believe I am one display arm short - will confirm if needed) GONE
IMG_3077.JPG
First Edition 1:1400 Enterprise -D (5 inches across the oval) UNPAINTED GONE, REMAINDER DISCARDED IN TRASH
IMG_3078.JPG
First Edition Ferengi/Romulan/Klingon Adversary set. I could unmount my Vor’cha/B’rel models if you need a fourth. (rectangular base about 4 x 5.5 inches) NO TAKERS, DISCARDED IN TRASH

I think these were Hot Wheels diecast stands (about 4 inches long) GONE
IMG_4001.JPG
Romulan 01 (About 4 inches in diameter) GONE
IMG_4002.JPG
Romulan 02 (About 4 inches in diameter) GONE
IMG_4003.JPG
Romulan 03 (About 4 inches in diameter) GONE
IMG_4004.JPG
Klingon 01 (About 4 inches in diameter) GONE
IMG_4005.JPG
UFP 01 (About 4 inches in diameter) GONE
IMG_4006.JPG
UFP 02 (About 4 inches in diameter) GONE

PM me if you have questions or an interest in any of these and we’ll work out the details. Anything left 01/01/18 goes to the landfill.

Thanks for your interest.

score!
I will have a chat around local modelling groups here in ACT OZ,
and see who's looking for stands.
I assume folks from around the world can play, and it's not "CONUS-only"

Griff, I've set those three aside for you. I'll get back with you via PM or email sometime this weekend.

Kobayashi, shipping overseas is likely to be several times the cost of the stands themselves, but if someone outside the continental US wants them, I can certainly oblige.

phew, it's almost as rare as hens teeth to find folks in that quantity who'll ship
outta CONUS these days. "What happens in CONUS, stays in CONUS" for cool stuff, that is
a lot of folks locally seem keen hehe.
they'll probably like them for 'all original' feel to their kit etc :D

Overseas shipping in either direction can be breathtaking. I've done it a few times.

Even shipping to Canada has gotten outta hand! It used to be pretty reasonable, not so much anymore. And then there’s customs fees that our Canadian brethren get hit with sometimes....

Yeah, that VAT thing can get crazy, on top of having to pay those crazy shipping costs. Ugh... I remember when it was a little high to ship to Europe, but still pretty reasonable. You’d think that even shipping Surface Freight would be semi-reasonable, tho it’s gone up, too.

I have a crapload of stands, but those Hot Wheels set... I'll take 'em off your hands if they haven't been spoken for, Kratok
