So tiny! Imagine that in 2500!
Good luck with the build.

Re: 1/350 Franklin
Scout or destroyer is the consensus I've read amongst many fans, as I've been seeing over the last year or so. Or just a smaller starship that was perhaps simply cheaper to produce? I dunno. I've got a Hallmark ornament that's pretty darned close to 1/1000 scale, so that's what I'm using it as, and calling it an NX-Era early Federation prototype scout ship.
Regardless, best of luck on the build, Neil! Check on Shapeways, too! I think someone at Starship Modeler mentioned they had designed a set of photorp tubes to be used on this kit. Don't recall if they had uploaded it for sale or not, tho.

There is a bunch of people get their knickers in a knot over this ship I see it in my own timeline as the first Warp 4 ship built prior to the NX-01. Decommissioned or mothballed after the warp 5 NX program became mainstream. Recommissioned during/after the Romulan war with a new registry number as a large cutter / patrol shipGriffworks wrote:Scout or destroyer is the consensus I've read amongst many fans, as I've been seeing over the last year or so. Ultimately I'd like to have her displayed next to the NX-01 refit both of them in the same Federation style paint scheme
I saw that Jeffrey I'm tempted, not sure I'm going to bother with PE thoughGriffworks wrote: Regardless, best of luck on the build, Neil! Check on Shapeways, too! Looking forward to your build - I haven’t even opened mine out of the box yet
Only thing I don’t like about the kit is the moulded name/numbers

That's actually really nice! I hadn't seen those yet. I won't likely buy this kit, tho appreicate the efforts folks are putting into theirs.
As always, thanks for sharing!
