Well I'll be....

Hmmmmmmm.
There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.

Wow, talk about raising the dead...thread. But since you asked, here is a pic;

I was thinking along the lines of a cargo ship, I only ever got so far as to rough it in by mashing up a Red October sub. I still have her around somewhere, I think...

Oh and another pic;

Love the cargo ship.

Ahem... Are those 1/2500 Cheyenne nacelles? Is there a 1/2500 Cheyenne class I don't now about?

And the conning tower was used for a Challenger class ?

Two ideas I' d like to share with you :
bits from Wh40k table top game :
The Tau drones as sensor pods, I think I will use one on a kitbashed excelsior.
The bases (there are many sizes) as saucers, you can use an upside down black one with a clear one on top and you get the basic shape of a nice saucer. Then add details and fill the gaps with putty/plastic sheets as usual.

No kit that I am aware of, sorry. I might have a spare set of nacelles kicking around, PM me if you are interested and I'll check.

I think the TAU Drones might be a bit on the small size, but I've heard that suggestion before, thanks! Any pics of the Bases?
For sensor pods, I'd recommend the Bandai MS Radome 01 parts kit, here is a pic next to the F-toys Defiant for size:

You get two sprues with three different sizes of two types of radomes! With options too! You can get them at HLJ or on eBay.

Tau drones would be about the size of the smaller domes you have there. There's also bigger drones recently released, but it's not worth buying a $120 mech kit that should really only be worth $60

Thanks for the idea of Bandai drones (but cannot find the full set ont the web, maybe later)
Regarding Tau drones, depends of the size of the ship you want to fit it to, anyway there are bigger drones in resin from forgeworld, these should be ok for a Nebula or an Orion class in the sacred scale.
