Klingon Green (again)

Post by Tesral »

I picked this as the primary color right off the Bird of Prey studio model, for what that is worth. A model shop shot, not on screen.

Nope, that is right off the model. What is not is the whole of the story. Lighting can change colors drastically. None of us old lags would have picked greenish gray as the real color of the beloved TOS-E. It always looked bluish white to me.

As said, base color off the studio model in the shop. That does not include the highlight, shadow, or detail colors. The model is not one color.

That is so true. Another example would be the original D7 painted with shades of light green and grey violet and yet it looked solid light gray on screen. Studio lights really washed out the colors.
