Help - Primer peeling off!

Do you know what's going on when primer is flaking off a resin part? It's just so weird that the primer just scrapes off. I washed it before I started working on it, but even my self-etching primer is failing me. Specifically, the part is the saucer piece for a 2500 FedMod Centaur. I've never had a problem with the resin FM uses. I've had the model for a couple of years now, so I don't think I can approach FM to ask for a new one. Anyone know a cure for this?

Not one I have seen. I would suggest a very aggressive rewash and a different kind of primer.

Ugh, that is a problem. I have heard of some resin that had the mix off and either has problems like this or won't harden properly. Very rare though.

Unfortunately I have no ideas on how to help you.

I's ask Fed Mods anyway, no harm in asking.

Thank you gents. I also posted this question on a couple of facebook groups and received several helpful tips. I've attempted my first treatment over the weekend and will primer this coming Saturday. Fingers crossed.
