DECAL REMOVAL QUESTION

Post by patrickivan » Wed Mar 13, 2019 3:51 pm

Hi

I applied some aftermarket decals sheets to the neck and nacelle struts to my 1:350 TMP E, and the colours on the decals are almost invisible in any lighting.

What are your thoughts to removing them?

They were applied with decal set, but not clear coated yet.

Microset should be able to get them off. If you don't have any then some watered white vinegar should be almost the same.
There is no dark side of the moon really, matter of fact its all dark.

I'll probably try the less expensive option you suggest. I have plenty of vinegar. Thanks.

Use some masking tape to pull them off. Just press it on firmly and rip it off fast like a Brazilian wax job.
