Hello from England

Post by PopeTerry »

Hello there I'm Ricky, I can't remember what brought me to this site but I thought I'd sign up and have a browse. I started doing Star Trek kits when I was younger but I lost interest and over the years the models I had made ended up getting broken or lost. Well, all of them except my Enterprise E, but that just looks awful. So I am hoping to make another and see how i've improved. So after I was let go from my previous job I decided to take up the hobby again and get back to model making :D

Got a few models made up so far and currently making one at the moment. I still wouldn't say I'm any good at making scale models but I enjoy doing it. I may have a few questions for people when I have difficulties, so would be grateful for any help I can get to refresh my model making skills.

Welcome! Good to see someone returning to the hobby.

We have a Newbie Modeler Corner which is not just for newbie modellers but also for former "rusty" modellers who want to get back into the hobby.
Check it out, here's a link to the Help Desk subforum:

Feel free to ask a question if you need help with something. There are lots of great people here on AST who are willing to help if you need any advice.
