Hello from Sussex, England!

Post by ProfArturo » Sun Mar 25, 2018 1:16 pm

Hi guys, my name's Steve. I found your forum through a google search whilst researching 1:1400 Enterprise kits. I've been a Star Trek fan since the age of 9 when I caught a rerun of 'Allegiance' on BBC2 in 1997.

I've dabbled with model kits on and off ever since, but recently got back into it properly in the last couple years when I realised my skillset had finally developed enough to finish stuff to an acceptable quality.

So far I've got an 1400 Enteprise D and E in my collection, and as said it was whilst researching whether I could get any of the earlier Enterprises in the same scale that I stumbled onto here!

I'm sure I will have many questions to ask in time

Welcome to AST. Suffolkian here but originally from Essex. Sit back, relax. Grab a cup of tea and let the eye-candy make you drool.

Hope we can be of assistance in some way or other.

Thanks guys.

I've currently awaiting delivery of a starcrafts TOS Enterprise, having discovered Federation Models at the same time as this forum, so I look forward to sharing the ups and downs with you all!

There are a number of English ASTers. Methinks you gents should get together. I would gladly come but the Atlantic is cold this time of year and the van leaks.

Is there a reason it's less popular than other scales? My TOS Enterprise turned up yesterday and it's even tinier than I expected so I guess that has something to do with it?

I'll get some pics of my other models up.

Thanks for the kind welcome everyone.
