Hi all,
i'm Steve and i mostly do CGI modelling not physical - though i do own a 3d printer.
on that note i do intend to print out a first contact style phaser rifle
i've mainly come here for inspiration for my 3d work

You will find plenty of that. We have modelers of all kinds. From the old physical to some amazing 3d work.

Look, mingle, lurk, post, lurk some more, it is all good here.
Some (IMO) prominent/well respected/veteran AST members to look up for their work. They all have a lot of eye candy, unless the pics were stored on Photo Bucket.
Marc Noonan. He does a lot of general 3D work, knows quite a bit about the tech side of 3D printing and is always happy to share.
Resin Modeller. 3D Trek modeller mainly, GK'er, good to talk to.
Serin. Trek 3D'er. Not active at AST these days it seems. However, hopefully all the pics are still in their respective threads. If you want inspiration for 1/1 printed Treknology (and other 1v1 scale gizmos) then look up this members threads.
