UK modeller building 1/350th refit

I used about gallon of Micro Sol and Micro Set on the strongback in particular, and had to !!!!!!!! and slit a lot of wrinkles until they lay flat ... it's not perfect even now, though, but good enough given the finish achieved elsewhere, which is OK but far from perfect in some areas. If it looks good from 3 feet away on my office cabinet, though, I'll be happy.

Yeah that 350 strongback decal ate my lunch too. But that's the learning curve we all go through. In the future you'll have some more skills when it comes to application.

The nacelles are part finished and only just clipped in place with temporary wiring connections, but I couldn't resist seeing how it would all look. There is still a fair bit to be done, but the end is nearer than it was a few weeks ago!

I've now added an Arduino board into the base, so that the navigation lights can flash while the main
lights stay on. If I was doing another one I'd add a few more circuits to get different lighting effects,
but I'm happy enough as it is. It has felt like a marathon modelling project at times!

Looks great. I feel your pain. Mines been an on and off project for the last 9 years!
