I'm glad all is cool. It's so easy for wrong tone to come through in forums like this. I've got to be careful how I word stuff.

Nine bucks for a three oz rattle can of Timaya? Define, break the bank?

$9 for three cans??? Holy crap that's amazing!!!! We can barely buy 1 can of tamyia paint in Canada for that price! Auto, paint, and art suppliers are far more economical here. That's why I rarely !!!!!!!! my money away at hobby stores.

I think he meant $9 for a 3 ounce can. 3 ounces is 88.7 milliliters.
A "large" pot of Tamiya acrylic paint is 23ml and costs $4.50.
So the spray can is cheaper than the paint pot, but not by much.

Thinned properly, cheap acrylic paint can look pretty remarkable.
