The real reason I attend WonderFest is to keep in touch with everyone. Sometimes I sell kits in the vendor room, sometimes I don't. I've not yet entered the model contest, but want to someday. Just being there to meet folks and have fun is all you need to do, but seeing some of the model contest entries will make your jaw drop, and give you ideas.

Well it might be distractingly impressive, but I imagine it would also just get in the way all the time.
