Star Trek: Picard is the official title of the upcoming CBS All Access series starring Patrick Stewart, it was revealed this afternoon at the CBS upfront presentation for advertisers in New York City. The show’s logo was also displayed for the very first time.

Stewart will star in Star Trek: Picard, reprising his role as the venerable Captain Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on Star Trek: Next Generation. The series will follow this iconic character in the next chapter of his life.

Star Trek: Picard will be produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Michael Chabon, Akiva Goldsman, James Duff, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth will serve as executive producers. Aaron Baiers (Secret Hideout) will serve as co-executive producer and Kirsten Beyer as supervising producer.

Hello,

Yeah, can't wait to the show! It seems that the uniform design goes back to the Voyager style again after Nemesis. Just as shown in All good things and Endgame.. New communicators are very pretty :). It seems to be more (good old) canon, that Discovery so far...

Okay, as you may know, I live in France.
So until a few hours ago, I was studying possible options for watching Star Trek Picard's pilot episode directly from La Barre, Jean-Luc Picard's hometown. The small village of La Barre is located roughly 276 miles south-east from where I live. It's a four hour drive, no big deal.

However, it's in the middle of nowhere and there's just... nothing ! There are no hotels, no restaurants, no bars, not even a single retail shop ! Just private homes and farms. And of course, probably no public internet access.
I guess I'll probably scare the hell out of the locals if I just show up in my Starfleet uniform, asking for a WiFi spot so I could watch star Trek Picard on Amazon Prime... :roll:
