Meh.
This series is going to have to try a lot harder than sticking hair on its ugly non-Klingons and showing me a holographic silhouette of a TMP-era D7/K'Tinga to get me to like it.

Klingons look a million times better just by sticking hair on them.
Still not convinced by yet another new Spock though.

Yeah, this really is wholly unnecessary.

I like that the Klingons look much better with hair. Yes, the makeup is an updated type of make up but the addition of hair makes them closer to what we've seen before. I also liked seeing the K'Tinga as we know it. Maybe a prototype design by L'Rell?

jesus, those screen grabs above are all so dark... I hope it's not another season of that nonsense.

Anyone caught up?
We just finished up to Light and Shadows.
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the Sound of Thunder and LIght and Shadows. So much so that I'm actually looking forward to episode 8 now. It's nice to want to see Star Trek again.
I'm curious how they're going to handle this s.31 nonsense, but at least it's getting interesting.
I hear Ep 8 has a really neat homage of an introduction.
