Fleetyard,

Keep the charts coming! Love the work you are doing, on a side note, I love your avatar as well, a cool take on the ST Delta and LCARS interface...

Many thanks. It was a long way to find the right logo for me. It is a result of my LCARS-work.

Currently I'm working on the Starfleet Shuttle chart but it's realy difficult to find Starfleet Shuttle orthos in 3d.

My premise: the SS Emmette has no windows. So it is a prototype to test higher warp speed. Therefore there will be no "luxury rooms" and a normal ceiling height of 2,5 m. The rest of the ship is full of technology.
The ship is 131m long. If the ship (like the model kit from Fantastic Plastic) would really be 95m long, then the deck would only have a high of 1,8 m.
Thanks for adding the Emmette, really appreciate it. One of my favourite alien ships are Species 8472 and I've done a lot to estimate the size of the ships. As they have no windows to use as comparison I hope you might find the following plausible

Keep up the good work

Cheers

Here is my analysis of the Species 8472 bioship:

This is the only screenshot in which we can see both ships (Voyager and bioship). http://voy.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/ ... on1162.jpg
The great thing is that they fly to each other at the same angle. So we can determine the vanishing point.
(red lines = Bioship, brown lines = USS Voyager) The yellow line indicates the axis of the ship. This allows us to project the axis of the Bioship proportional on the axis of the Voyager.
The Voyager is 344m long. The axis line of the Bioship results in a length of 106m.

Because the screenshot is quite small and I had to use the Warp nacell as end and not the rear Shuttle Bay of the Voyager, I would determine the length of the ship with 110m.

Here is the updated Delta Quadrant size chart:

PS: The Bioship was the only thing I havn't calculated because I remembered only to the one-man-crew. At this time the official size of 50m was plausible for me. Many thanks on Marc that I was able to correct this error.

FLEETYARD wrote: I found a inconsistency: the physical studio model of the NX-01 Shuttle Pod is 7,2m long. But the Shuttle bay doors of the Enterprise NX-01 are only 6,69m long.
I must apologize here for this error. The NX-01 Shuttle Pod is 6,2m long. I came to ponder by this photo of Martin Netter in front of his Shuttle Pod. https://scontent-a-ams.xx.fbcdn.net/hph ... 8625_o.jpg

So I checked the information in the Christie's catalog and have noticed that there is an incorrect length specification for the Shuttle Pod. Such a big mistake has never happened to me in a search. Here is the correct Shuttle size chart:

I apologize again.

You hardly need to apologize! I really admire your dedication.

Did not realize the Maquis ship was that big
