Cool pic / artwork / video thread (Trek only)

For everything Star Trek related, that isn't covered by the other forums.

Unfortunately, that is all I found. If I can find a larger image I'll update the post.

That should work for a favicon just fine, I believe.

Just wanted to share with you two interesting pictures to be compared.

You're probably familiar with the first picture. It shows the building in the city of Paris on Earth that serves as the seat of government of the United Federation of Planets.
The building has been named "Palais de la Concorde" in several books and has been seen on screen in... I think the screenshot is actually from DS9.
Officially, the building has no name and it is supposed to be located at the Place de la Concorde, where the United States Embassy in France is.

And here's a picture I took two years ago in Paris, France. Picture has been taken from the northern bank of the Seine river, looking south-east :
Image As you can see in the real picture, the Eiffel Tower isn't here, since this place is located here on Google Maps, 2.7 miles east of the real Eiffel Tower.
Actually, the Palais de la Concorde would sit where Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral actually is.

Oh, wait ! This implies the fire that severely damaged Notre-Dame de Paris might have been been ignited by Section 31 operatives, who actually tried to wipe out the cathedral so the seat of government of the UFP could be built at this precise location some three centuries later !?
